Description
This die-cut metal advertising sign features promotional graphics for Michigan Softball associated with the Plank Road Brewery. The central composition includes the stylized text Michigan Softball in blue script with a white border. The background depicts various pieces of sports equipment, including a leather fielder’s glove, wooden bats, a blue baseball cap, and a softball bearing the Plank Road Brewery logo, all resting on a dirt-textured field. The upper portion of the sign displays the Plank Road Brewery emblem, featuring an illustration of a brewery building and the inscription EST. 1855. On the right side, the sign depicts two beer bottles, one for Red Dog and one for Icehouse, both identified as products of the Plank Road Brewery. The sign is made of lithographed metal with a custom-contoured top and right edge. Small pre-drilled holes are located in the corners for mounting purposes. Fine print at the bottom edge includes the phrase Enjoy It Responsibly.
Condition report:
The sign is in good overall condition, exhibiting minor surface scuffing, light scratches, and small instances of edge wear consistent with age and previous display. The lithographed colors remain bright and the metal substrate is structurally sound with no significant bending or oxidation visible.
