Description
A collection of two black vinyl three-ring binders containing various sports-related memorabilia and ephemera, with a focus on Pittsburgh professional teams from the late 20th century through the early 2000s. One binder is a BCW 3-inch album featuring a printed graphic titled SPORTS CARD COLLECTION on the cover. The items are organized within clear plastic sheet protectors. The collection includes magazine covers and articles from publications such as Sports Illustrated (January 17, 1983, and May 4, 1992) and SPORT (December 1992). Featured athletes include Barry Bonds, Terry Bradshaw, Lynn Swann, Chuck Muncie, and Rocket Ismail. Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. Newsprint clippings and certain magazine pages show expected age-related yellowing and toning. The binders exhibit minor surface wear and dust consistent with age and storage. The ephemera remains well-preserved within plastic sleeves.
