Description
This decorative art glass vase is attributed to the Fenton Art Glass Company, featuring their signature cranberry opalescent hobnail pattern. The vessel is constructed of opalescent glass that transitions from a deep, translucent cranberry red at the base to a milky white opalescence across the upper body and raised hobnails. The form includes a tapered body covered in rows of hobnail projections, a multi-point double crimped or ruffled rim, and a smooth circular pedestal base. This style and colorway are characteristic of American mid-century art glass production. No maker marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the smooth underside of the base.
Condition report:
The vase is in excellent vintage condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the ruffled rim or the hobnail points. The glass retains high clarity and the opalescent shading is uniform. The base shows minimal signs of shelf wear.
