Description
This lot consists of nine vintage monochrome figurines molded from blue plastic. The collection features several characters from Walt Disney productions alongside two stylized novelty caricature figures. The Disney-themed figures include Minnie Mouse standing with hands on hips, Snow White in a floor-length gown, Dopey with a large hat and ears, Tinker Bell on an integrated circular base, Bambi with molded spots on the back, and two identical Peter Pan figures holding pan pipes. The lot is completed by two identical tall caricature figures in the style of the Marx Nutty Mads series, featuring distorted facial expressions and open mouths while holding spherical objects overhead. These items are characteristic of the unbreakable plastic figurines produced by Louis Marx and Company during the mid-20th century. While recessed markings are visible on the undersides of the bases, they are not clearly legible in the provided photographs. The figures are static, unpainted, and show detailed molding.
