Description
A collection of amber pressed glass tableware items in the Coin pattern, attributed to the Fostoria Glass Company. The assortment includes a tall bud vase, a small pitcher or cruet, a handled nappy bowl, and a salt shaker. Each piece is executed in transparent honey-yellow glass and features the distinctive Coin pattern, consisting of embossed circular medallions depicting profile busts and American motifs set within recessed vertical panels. The bud vase is designed with a fluted body, a scalloped rim, and a pedestal base terminating in a hexagonal foot. The small pitcher features a bulbous body, a loop handle, and a pinched pouring spout. The small nappy bowl includes a single applied loop handle, a scalloped rim, and a rayed starburst design on the underside of the base. The salt shaker has a bulbous body and is topped with a perforated chrome-plated metal lid.
Condition report:
The glass components are in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The metal lid of the salt shaker exhibits minor surface wear and light oxidation consistent with age and use.
