Description
This is a Fenton Art Glass Company bowl in the Forget-Me-Not pattern. The item is crafted from lime green custard glass with a satin finish. It features uranium oxide in its composition, which causes a bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The bowl is produced using a pressed glass technique and has a scalloped rim, resting on three stylized ribbed feet. The exterior decoration consists of a band of raised floral clusters above a textured leaf motif. The base of the bowl contains an embossed oval script Fenton mark. An original gold and black foil label is adhered to the interior, reading Authentic Fenton Handmade.
Diameter: Approximately 4 to 5 inches.
Condition report:
The bowl is in very good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The interior exhibits minor dark specks of surface debris. The foil sticker shows light wear and lifting at the edges.
