Description
This lot consists of a pair of mid-century modern amber-colored pressed glass canisters with coordinating lids. Each vessel features a prominent embossed pattern of vertical stylized teardrops accented with raised circular medallions. The jars are topped with tiered, circular-faceted glass stoppers. The glass exhibits a warm honey-amber tone throughout. A partial, illegible paper label remnant is visible on the top of one lid, but no definitive maker marks or inscriptions are distinguishable. Decorative glassware of this style was widely produced during the mid-20th century and is frequently associated with manufacturers such as L.E. Smith and Imperial Glass.
Condition report:
Both canisters and lids are in good overall condition, showing typical signs of vintage use. Minor adhesive residue from a previous label is present on one stopper. No chips, cracks, or signs of repair were observed.
