Description
A collection of mid-century modern plastic tableware including insulated tumblers, nested bowls, and corn cob dishes. The tumblers feature textured exteriors in shades of turquoise, yellow, and green, each finished with a white plastic rim. The base of the yellow tumblers is marked with the brand name Bolero in cursive script above a stylized dancer figure, followed by THERMO-WARE and text specifying DISHWASHER SAFE, UNBREAKABLE, and STAIN PROOF. The coordinating nested bowls have a smooth matte finish in turquoise, yellow, and beige. A mark on the underside of a turquoise bowl identifies it as AZTEC MELMAC DINNERWARE from ST. LOUIS MO, accompanied by a stylized sun logo. The collection also includes several forest green, elongated dishes designed for serving corn on the cob, featuring a glossy finish.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good vintage condition. There is minor surface scuffing and fine scratching across the various pieces, consistent with age and typical household use. No significant cracks, chips, or deep staining are visible.
