5.28.26 MAY ANTIQUE & GLASS AUCTION
Lot 164:
Description
A small art glass vase featuring a lobed melon-form body and a wide ruffled or crimped rim. The vessel is crafted from Burmese-style glass, displaying a characteristic heat-sensitive color transition from a pale yellow-cream at the base to a vibrant pink at the top. The glass has a uniform satin or matte finish. The piece is supported by an integrated circular foot. While the form and material are consistent with the production of the Fenton Art Glass Company, no maker marks are present.
Condition report:
The vase is structurally sound with no observed chips, cracks, or restorations. The surface shows minor soiling and small scattered dark marks, consistent with age and handling.
