Description
A collection of pressed glass decorative items featuring a character identified as The Musical Fiddler. The group includes several figurines of varying sizes and matching miniature plates in iridescent blue, transparent green, and deep red glass. The figurines depict a whimsical jester character wearing a top hat and playing a fiddle. Each figurine is embossed with the name WILEY on the crown of the hat. The largest iridescent blue figure carries a green paper label stating Marked Mosser. The accompanying miniature plates feature a raised central image of the character and are embossed with THE MUSICAL FIDDLER and WILEY around the rim. The pieces exhibit various glass treatments, including a carnival glass-style iridescent luster on the blue items and a translucent finish on the green and red pieces.
