Description
A collection of vintage character-themed collectibles and souvenir items. The group includes ceramic salt and pepper shakers modeled as Porky Pig and Petunia Pig seated at a soda fountain counter. Also included are ceramic shakers depicting the characters Garfield and Odie. Glass salt and pepper shakers with perforated metal lids feature printed decals of Mickey and Minnie Mouse and bear the inscription © WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS. The collection further features miniature ceramic souvenir jugs with gold-toned rims and handles, decorated with illustrations of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Cinderella, both inscribed with Disneyland. A mechanical tiger-themed novelty item of plastic and metal construction is also present.
Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition consistent with age. Visible wear includes minor paint loss and surface abrasions on the character figures. The ceramic pieces show crazing to the glaze. The metal lids of the glass shakers exhibit some oxidation and pitting.
