Description
Two cranberry opalescent glass vessels comprising a footed ruffled vase and a pitcher with an applied clear reeded handle. The translucent pink bodies are decorated with white opalescent spots, and the smooth undersides bear no maker marks or signatures (photos 5 and 6).
Condition report:
A prominent brownish stain is present on the exterior of the vase (photo 1). Dark residue is visible within the folds of the ruffled rim (photo 3). Scattered surface smudges are present on both pieces, and light shelf wear is visible on the underside of the bases (photos 5 and 6).
